  1. Preheat a pan on the flame.
  2. Add all the dry ingredients and mix well. Then add vanilla essence, melted butter and milk as required to make a dough. Do not knead the dough.
  3. Divide the dough into two halves. Add tutti fruitti to one part and black cumin to another part.
  4. Keep it covered in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough equally, form balls and give shape of your choice. You can use cookie cutter or just give some imprints with fork.
  6. Grease an aluminium container, place the cookies on it leaving enough space between the cookies.
  7. Then place the container inside the pan. Cover it with heavy lid.
  8. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes on low flame.
  9. Remove the cookie gently and keep it to cool down. The cookies will be soft but once it cools it will become crisp. Enjoy with a cup of tea.

Custard powder is nothing but cornflour, flavored with vanilla. Corn flour makes these cookies tender and more crumbly. Next, shape it into a log and let it chill until firm. Then slice and bake the cookies to a golden perfection. You can add in various mix-ins.
